Guten Morgen!!
Guess what ladies! I'M GOING TO LEARN GARMEN!! Ja, you can say I finally get a life. I'm determined this time.
I wanna learn one of the popular European lauguages, trust it would be helpful for me to communicate with people if I go to Europe.
Actually I was going to learn Dutch, but then I found that the language is not well-known here, there is no course can be provided in where I live. I think French, German, Russian and spanish are the most popular here, Asian widerly learn those languages actually.
I heard that Dutch is smiliar to German, isn't it? Asian think learning German is difficult to learn, it's harder than doing French, there is lot of grammar rules you have to take care of.
If I speak German in Holland, do Nederlanders understand German?
I can't stop listening to Germen live radio, some of german songs are good, fabulous! Even though I have no idea that they sing.
Can anyone send me some good german song bitte? I would like to hear Dutch songs, too, alstublieft?
Danke! Dank je! It's fun to say those words _________________ Please click my sign for checking out my fiction webpage, thanks!

Guten Morgen!
So yeah, I'm from Germany +giggles+
I think it's like exciting you want to learn that language
Euhm.. yeah, Dutch is kind of similar to German. I mean, I do understand quite a lot of Dutch but I couldn't speak it to save my life.
From my experiences, maaaaaaany Dutch people understand German, so yeah.
I heard from a couple of people that learning German is tough and I can kind of imagine that.
I think I'm going to look for a Sportfreunde Stiller song, as they're one German band and they are aweeesome _________________ Marissa is my favourite bitch. jerk.

Guess it's similar to German, but I don't know many Dutchies that actually get German. Cause they just talk way too fast and such
I only get German cause I had 3 years of hard labour German
Oh, and you don't want to hear Dutch songs. Seriously. _________________ Laura & Marissa. Des amies. Very terrif.

I would not say that the dutch would understand German.
The majority of the people here in Holland do not speak the language and would not have a clue what you mean if you talk to them in German.
People all say the language is the same, maybe it sounds the same but its quite different. You are better off talking english to the dutch people then German, as english is the 2nd language they learn at schools here. So most of them know that. _________________

I be Dutch.
I think that if you speak German to people from the south (like me ) they'll understand you better and might even talk back in German because we live so close to the border and because we speak this dialect which has a lot of influence from German.
I've had German at school for 5 years and my dad watches quite a lot of German TV so you can speak German to me if you like. _________________
Aww thanks so much for your opinoin, they are so helpful to me, danke danke! Dank je, dank je! Sum it up, I think I will learn both of the languages, hope I could be surivive by the end of the time. I will take some German course in advance, and then buy some Dutch book for self-learning later.
I didn't know not much dutchies know German until you guys told me. Well, the point of view from Asian, they really 'think' that Nederlanders understand of German.
Tweetie - yeah you say it, it's more than exciting to learn the langaugue Can you image, I can say German swear words here loudly when I'm angry cos nobody know what I mean. Thanks for posting the link the song is good! Btw, I also found Yvonne Catterfeld's song, her voice is amazing.
Marz - *highs five* Dutch rules~! Aww thanks for your saying. I listened to some Dutch songs before, they were goods, but I do not remember the name of the songs!

Aww, well people from the south pronounce the 'G' differently than the people from the north. We pronounce it in a soft way, they pronounce it in a hard way...if that makes sense you just gotta hear it, to be honest. _________________
