I was bored so I wrote this.
it's pretty much suck

since I'm not too good with this stuff.

here goes and let me know what you think.

"Hello, earth to Brendon. Can you hear me?" Emily said, laughing as she waved her hand in front of him.
He snapped out of his thoughts. "Yeah, sorry." He said, shaking his head. "You look amazing."
"Thank you." She said, turning around. Today is the biggest day of her life, her wedding day. "For a second there, I thought you think I look like an idiot."
"Nonsense." He said, smiling. "You always look amazing to me."
"Aww, thank you." She said and hugged him. "You are my best friend, you know that, right?"

"Unfortunately yes." That was what he really wanted to say but didn't. "I know." He said instead. "You're the most beautiful bride I've ever seen."
"Are you trying to steal my bride?" Someone said, making Emily laughed. "I won't allow that, you know."
"Stop teasing my best friend, Pete." Emily said and walked over to him. "You're not supposed to be here. It's bad luck to see the bride before the wedding."

"I don't care." Pete said and laughed. "I just need to see you."
"No, you cannot." Mel said, pushing him off after she walked in with 4 other bridesmaids. Hayley, Cassie, Greta and Vicky. "Go, it's almost time."
"Yeah, it is." Cassie said and rolled her eyes. "Brendon, could you please take him out of here?"
"Sure." Brendon said and smiled, taking Pete away. "Come on, Pete."

"Am I just the luckiest bastard of what?" Pete said as the boys are getting ready.
"You don't have to say that twice." Patrick said and laughed. "We all been wondering that ourselves."
"I can't believe you're marrying my sister." Ryan said and shook his head. "I swear, if you hurt her, I'll kill you."
"I won't." Pete said firmly. "I love your sister more than anything."

"Good." Jon said and smiled. "It's not only Ryan you have to deal with, it's all of us."
"Especially Brendon." Joe added. "Sometimes I think he loves her more than you, Pete."
Brendon didn't answer, just smiled. He knew that Joe was right. He does love her, even more than Pete but he'd rather keep it in.
"It's time." Spencer said and walked off with Andy.

The ceremony went beautifully. Even though he wanted to object and tell her how he really feels, Brendon stood in silence. He knew that Emily loves Pete and she never loves him the same way she loves Pete. No body knows how he really feels about her, let alone Emily herself.
They have known each other since they were kids. Best friends, just best friends. He loves her more than she knows but he keeps it in. He regretted it that he never tell her how he really feels.

"Hey, there you are." Emily said at the reception. "I've been looking all over for you." She smiled and sat next to him.
"I just need some air, that's all." He lied. "So you are Mrs.Wentz now, huh?" He asked and faked a smile.
"Yeah, kinda need to get used to this a little." She said and laughed. "I can't believe I got married already."
"Me neither." He said as she rested her head on his shoulder. "Tired?"

"A little." She said and yawned. "I couldn't sleep last night so I stayed up all night."
"Emily, I need to tell you something." He said, finally decided to tell her how he really feels but before he can say anything. Someone interrupted them.
"It's time for the first dance, Mrs.Wentz." Mel said and smiled.
Emily looked at Brendon for a while, then he touched her face. "Go ahead, this can wait." He said softly.

After their first dance, it was time to make a toast. Mel just finished hers and now it's Brendon's time.
"I tried to find all the words for this but it just didn't work so well." He laughed. "So I'm going to sing this song for Mr. &Mrs.Wentz."
He stood up and walked straight to the piano. "I actually wrote this song a while ago but I didn't really have the nerves to sing or disgust this with anyone." He put his champagne glass down on the piano and started to play.

After the song's over, Brendon stood up. He smiled as he walked to Emily. "I love you, Emily. Always have and always will." He said through the microphone, out loud this time. He's not so afraid anymore, he's got nothing to lose. He already lost her. "Pete, you're the luckiest man alive. Love her and take care of her for me. Don't screw it up, I will come after you if you do."
Everyone laughed, except Emily and Brendon. She just stared at him, not really saying anything.

After Emily and Pete left, Brendon was sitting in the garden alone. His head buried deep in his hands. "Are you alright, Brendon?" Ryan said as he walked to him with Mel.
"I'm fine." He answered which of course, he was lying. How can he be alright when the one of his life is gone for her honeymoon? "At least I think I am." He finally confessed.
"Can I have some time alone with him?" Mel said and smiled to Ryan. "Please?

"Sure." Ryan said and smiled as he touched Brendon's shoulder. "I'll be in the hotel." With that, he left.
"Why didn't you tell me this before?" Mel asked and sat down next to him. "Or Emily, for that matter?"
"How am I supposed to say it, Mel?" Brendon asked and looked up, trying not to cry. "I didn't wanna change anything between Emily and me."

"Oh, Brendon." Mel said and reached for something in her purse. "If only you both would have a guts to tell each other how you really feel."
"What are you talking about?" Brendon asked and stared at Mel blankly.
"She loves you, Brendon." Mel sighed. "I can't believe this is actually happening." She said and handed him a letter as she stood up.
"What's this?" He asked curiously as he took it.

Mel smiled weakly. "Emily told me to bring this to you after she left, so here it is." She answered, trying not to cry herself. "I'm really sorry things turned out this way, Brendon." Then she left.
Brendon stared at her walking away, then the letter. What can possibly be in this letter? He wondered but also scared of what he might found out. It didn't take him a while, however, that he finally got the nerve to read it.

"Dear Brendon,

By the time you read this, I'd probably be on my way to my honeymoon. It took me long enough to write this letter. I have no idea why I couldn't bare to tell you this in person but it doesn't matter now. I'm just gonna say this here.

Remember the first time we met in high school? You are the first person I talked to and since then we became friends, best friends even. I fell in love with you, from the moment we met. I never tell you that because I was afraid that our friendship will fall apart. That is why I decided to go out with other people so I can get over you.

Then Pete came along and I fell in love with him. But I know that deep down I love you more than him, I can never be over you completely. Maybe this is why I agreed to married him, so I can get on with my life. This may sound selfish but this is all I can do. All I'm saying is that I love you. You're the one I really love. Always have and always will.
