~The story of a lonely girl and a mysterious boy~ [1 Shot]

A long time ago there lived a girl, she was mystical, enchanting, but most of all....lonely. She didnt care for friends and lived all alone, people thought she was weird. Nobody even knew her name, but as she recalled, nobody ever cared to walk up to her and ask her for her name. The girl had no brothers, no sisters...the poor girl didnt even had parents. She lived alone with no pets, well...she had this pet, you couldnt really call it a pet, it was a wolf. She had tried to keep the wolf with her, but it always disapeard after some time. So, the girl lived her life all alone, until one day....The day everything changed.

She walked around in the forest. A noise scared her and she quickly went standing behind a tree. She was a curious girl, so she slowly walked torwards to the place where she had heard this noise. She couldnt believe what she saw! There was a man laying there! Just laying there! He was bleeding on his right arm. She didnt wait, she took him with her to the village and asked if anyone could help. Luckely there was a doctor, but no nurses, as she was worried about this man, she offered to stay.

After the doctor had stitched his arm, he had told the girl to keep an eye on the young man, since there was no hospital in the village, the girl had said that she would take good care off the man in her house. The doctor told her to warn him if something would happen, the girl promised and the boy was brought to her house. Days passed by and the young man didnt wake up, the girl became worried, but she couldnt leave the man alone to go warn the doctor, no as long as he was still sleeping, it was allright. Or at least not serious.

Another day had come and the boy had opend his eyes. The girl, who had gotten used to the fact of the boy laying there; didnt notice he was awake and kept doing her daily things. The boy didnt say anything, didnt make a sound to even make her look. He was watching her, probably waiting for when their eyes would meet. By the end of the day when she went to change his bandage, she was surpised. There he was, laying with his eyes open!

"Im sorry for not speaking to you sooner, but you seemed so busy, I didnt wanna disturb you." "How ever could you disturb me?" The girl asked with red cheeks. The man smiled to her. The girl looked closely to him, his brown eyes matched is brown long hair perfectly. She weakly smiled back to him. "Forgive me, I havent introduced myself. My name is Adam." "It's nice to meet you, Adam. My name is Emilia." "Nice to meet you, Emilia." Again, her cheeks turned red.

Adam recovered great. Offcourse it had been a terrible wound, but the doctor had done some wonderfull work and Adam would be fine in a week. Adam kept telling Emilia he would repay her somehow and she keps saying everything was fine, that she just wanted him to heal, with blushing cheeks. It was no secret to the outside eye that the girl had fallen madly in love with Adam. The question was: did he notice and if so, what was he going to do when he was healed?

A WEEK PASSED BY...

Only the blind people couldnt see how madly in love Adam and Emilia were. Emilia was more open now and people actually started to think she was a normal person. Adam was quickly the village their 'hunk'. A lot of girls were jalous of Emilia for having Adam, he stole a lot of hearts. Yes, things were perfect, but as my readers know....I always have drama is my stories and so here is the drama for this one....or the beginning of all the drama that will come.

Lately Adam had been acting weird, more animal like and very suspicious. Sweet Emilia pretended like she hardly noticed it, but Adam got worse by the day. At a certain point she thought he was going to hurt her and she locked the door, so he wouldnt be able to come inside. That night she could have sweared that she had heard him screaming our her name in a cry, like from a wolf. The next morning when she had woke up, she had found Adam laying in front of the house, he had just woke up. He got up, walked into the house and didnt say a word to emilia. He was probably still very upset about what she had done.

The next weeks he was the same sweat Adam again, showering her with compliments, telling her how much he loved her and that...he wanted to get married. She gasped for air. "Adam....are you serious?" "Yes, I love you and I want the world to know that you love me too. I want everyone to be on our wedding, so they can all see how I scream out how much I love you!" "Oh Adam..." They kissed and very soon everyone knew that there was going to be a wedding.....everyone in and out the village.

The day after that Adam asked her to marry him, Emilia had gotten up really early. She needed some plants from the forest and while she walked to the forest, she was looking at the sparkeling ring around her finger. Poor Emilia didnt notice there was someone walking behind her. She took a brief moment to sit down and watch the clouds...She got up and....faced the wolf who had been following her. He was growling at her, showing his teeth, ready to attack. Just when the wolf was ready to jump on Emilia, Adam was standing there. He trew a stick to the mouth of the wolf and growled something in the like of saying: "Go! Now!"

The wolf didnt wait a second and ran off. Emila was so shocked by it all, that she fainted. When she opend her eyes, she was back in her safe home...Adam was busy with chopping wood. Emilia ran outside. "Adam....what happend?" "Luckely nothing." He stayed very calm during this all. "Adam...this is the first time I ever saw a wolf there, well...except for my pet wolf, allthough I havent seen him in ages." "I wouldnt know...Im new here, remember?" Emilia decided not to answer on it all and just went back inside.

While Adam was standing outside all alone he whispered something Emilia could never hear. "Maybe that pet wolf is closer than you think." The rest of the day Adam & Emilia didnt spoke many words, both wanted this day to be over....if they only would have known what was going to happen to them that night.

The sun had gone under and Adam was having one of his weird behavior moments again. This time it was worse than all the other times. He kept watching outside like he was fearing something, or waiting until he could be outside..."Adam..." "Not now." "Adam..." "Please, Emilia. I said not now. " "Adam, what is wrong with you! You werent like this before." Emilia started to cry. Eventhough Adam didnt wanna leave his place, he got up and wrapped Emilia in his arms. "My dear...if you would only know what kind of secret I hide for you...You would never look upon me again." "Try me...You know my love is true."

Adam took a deep breath. He pulled Emilia closer and kissed her. "For this could be the last kiss you will ever give me." Emilia wasnt comfortable by how Adam was behaving, but she was curious to hear what her future husband had to say to her....She wanted to know what he feared to say..

Adam sighed, but then started talking. "It's actually a very short story my dear...remember that 'pet' wolf you talked about?" Emilia nodded her head. Adam looked deep into her eyes. She shaked her head. "Adam..." "Im a werewolf."

Emilia tried to understand. "You see....I have always loved you and...whenever I turned into a werewolf I wanted to stay being one, because, my dear, that is when I could be around you. But my dear....You have to know, that wasnt enough for me...I had to be with you. Not as a pet, but as your boyfriend, husband..." Emilia couldnt speak anymore, she just sat down, trying to understand the words that were breaking into her head.

"My love, that wolf that nearly attacked you...was the wolf that turned me into one." "Is he a werewolf too?" "Yea, he's the one that bit me. I dont know his human personality, you see...he didnt want me to survive, but you had found and taken care off my when I was a little wolf." "But you got bitten rencently? I mean...you had a nasty wound." "My love, that wasnt from a bite. He had attacked me, I had got him back, but the wound he gave me was deep. And again you came just in time to save me a second time." "What does he want?" "He wants you to die, my dear. So, he knows for sure that nobody can help me when he tries to attack me again." "Why does he want you dead so badly?" "Because pretty soon, I'll be strong enough to beat him and he knows that." "Oh Adam..."

Just as Emilia walks to Adam, something breaks through the window...the werewolf!! Adam pushes Emilia behind him and she runs to hide behind a door. Emilia sees how her Adam changes into a wolf. She fights back her tears and watches the wolf and her Adam fight...by the looks of it, it shall be a fight that only one of them will survive...

More than half of the fight Emilia didnt watch, she just kept praying and hoping that Adam would be the one that would survive this terrible battle.Just when she got closed her eyes yet another time she had heard a shot....and another one. She opened her eyes and ran to the living room. There was man standing there with a gun..."Are you allright, miss?" Emilia didnt look at that man that saved her life, but she looked at Adam, who was laying on the floor, bleeding. "What the..." "Get the doctor here, now!" The man ran away and Emilia took Adam in her arms. "Hold on, my love. Help will be here soon." "Turn me around, so I can see the face of the man that ruined my life."

Emilia turned herself and Adam around and was shocked when she saw who was laying there...."Father?" Adam looked at Emila. "Father?" "Yes...I thought you died." "There isnt a day that I dont wish the same." "Father....why didnt you come home?" "And bite my daughter? No!" "Father, why did you bit Adam?" "I never planned on biting him, it's when you change....your lust for blood...Really, kid Im sorry." "I can forgive you that, but why did you keep chasing me?" "Because you are a werewolf...do you honestly think I wanna see my daughter with a werewolf?" "I love Adam, father." "Darling, you didnt need to tell me....you eyes say enough....Im dying darling, but Im glad that I know you will be fine.."

The doctor came running. After seeing all the blood..."Oh, my lord, what has happend here?" "Doctor, my father and boyfriend would in a disagreement, this good sir that walked buy didnt knew what was going and thought I needed help...please, help my fiancé." Emilia looked at her father and noticed it was already too late to save him.


1 Year later...

"Hunter, stay inside!" Adam raised his voice to his son, who wanted to go outside. "You never know what walks in those forests at night." He lifted his son up and closed the door. Adam had recovered great and while Adam had been recovering, Emilia had found out she was with child. Emilia and Adam got married pretty soon then and they had a son, Hunter. And here is the best part, neither Emilia nor Adam knew...when Emilia's father died, the curse that layed on Adam was lifted and he was no longer a werewolf and finally a lonely girl had gotten what she wanted and needed.
