I just decided to post it. I'm inspired by the soundtrack of ''City of Angels'' and I'm sure you all know this movie.



And all I can taste is this moment,
And all I can breathe is your life,
And sooner or later it's over,
I just dont want to miss you tonight.



Pitying for everything he’s done,not paying attention anything going around him,drinking all night long was his salvation.Nothing could be healed after everything happened,there was no point in trying but he was made to struggle for his life though he didn’t believe in living anymore.Life was as cold as his heart for him,as fragile as his soul and too meaningless to fight.
It was her doing all this to him,tearing his heart apart,stealing himself from him and leaving him all alone when he most needed to be with her.He wanted to die after she was gone,he wasn’t strong enough to stand the pain anyway but her memory even didn’t leave him alone there.She was everywhere in his life,everything he had done was reflection of something they did,pain of it was bearable.He cursed every single day he had to live,every single day he had to wake up another lonely day.He had been waiting for his death of angel to come and to take him without showing any mercy to him but death of angel was in silence,let him to suffer more but how could he possibly know that death of angel was sent to save his life?How could he know he’d chose falling in love with a woman who could give her life for him?
-Come and drink another shot with me Ant.One do no harm Duncan said starting laughing stupidly.He’d already drunk more than he could take but he’d still talk about drinking another shot of tequila.Antony rolled his eyes and sat down on a chair.He hoped to knock some sense into his head but they had been trying for ages,still there was no sense at all.
-Dunk c’mon let’s go for this time.I promise you we can go out another time but now now please Ant said trying to knock sense into his head which he hadn’t used for a long time.Duncan nodded dumbly trying to stand on his feet but he was too drunk to get his balance so that Antony helped him.He took Duncan to his home not to leave him alone as he could something stupid.Duncan drifted to sleep as soon as he put his head on pillow.Ant sighted deeply closing the door of spare room.He could never understand why Duncan still hadn’t got over her,after all she was just a girl whom wasn’t the right for him.
When Duncan woke up around 2 pm next day,he felt sick.I should have got used to feeling this he thought but his stomach was just sh!tty.He whimpered with painful headache trying to get up from bed to vomit.His headache was horrible to remind him last night or all the others night he’d done this.He grabbed edges of the basin coughing hardly to make his stomach empty.When he finally finished,he looked his pale reflection on mirror.A face as pale as sheet,messy hair and a slim trembling body.He’d lost so much weight over these months so he even looked so slimmer than before to himself.
He laid back to bed thinking about himself for the first time after all these months.What was he doing to himself?What was the point of everything he’s done?Tears of ashame started rolling down on his cheeks slowly as he put the duvet on him to get some sleep to forget his alcohol problem or all the other things he’d never wished to do.Even if he was trying to sleep,he continued crying cause he felt so weak to stop his tears and he wasn’t ashamed of crying after all.Big boys don’t cry was the biggest lie people had ever told.
-Are you sure he’s ok?We should check to see if he had done something bad to himself Lee slowly murmured again.He worried about him,his friend.Duncan was like brother to him,a brother he’d never have and he was scared of losing this brother.He hated this girl for leaving Duncan like this,miserable and so fragile.He swore he’d never tell or mention her name again that day she left.It was their wedding day,start of their new life together but she thought it was too much for her so there was nothing to do than leaving.

Flashback

Lee was Duncan’s best man and the one who found she was gone.He went to check if she had been alright or not when she didn’t walked down the aisle when she was expected to be.There was her wedding dress laying on floor with her long veil and small note was left on table along with her ring.Lee took it to read with trembling hands then started reading slowly.
I don’t know if you ever forgive for what I’ve done but I have to do it.I’m not sure you will be the first one who reads it but if it is you,Lee,look after him for me please.Don’t try to find me because I’ll be out of this country when you start reading this note.It will hurt,I know,but I didn’t love you enough Duncan,I didn’t love you like you love me.Give your heart another girl and be happy.

Lee couldn’t believe this note,mostly couldn’t believe Teressa did this,leaving Duncan in bl00dy church all alone to deal with 100 people and press who were waiting outside to learn about the wedding wasn’t something she dared to do but she obviously hadn’t found the courage to tell it straight to his face before everything planned.
When Lee appeared on door,with wedding dress in his hands,Duncan understood that his biggest nightmare has just come true.He always scared of this,leaving of Teressa and it happened in church.Lee slowly started walking down the aisle,hating knowing everyone was watching him shocked.
-I’m really sorry Duncan but she is gone.I’m really sorry he said slowly,handing note and dress to his shocked mate.Duncan didn’t say anything,he took the note and the dress,started walking to the door without looking back.He didn’t remember anything about that night after he had these moments at church,Teressa’s neighbours found him drunk at Teressa’s door,crying and banging the door for Teressa and called Lee to take him.Next day he never mention Teressa but everyone knew that he was stil madly in love with her but never showing his anger or love and hiding his true feelings were ways for him to try to move on.

Duncan still could remember how miserable he felt the moment he learned Teressa’s leaving.Fresh tears filled up his eyes again but he,for the first time,wanted to be strong to bear pain,because he wanted to move on his life without Teressa’s ghost hunting him.He slowly got up,went bathroom again but this time for good and he started looking life with hopeful eyes after such a long time,to be exact after 1 year.
-I heard him throwing up 2 hours ago.Calm down Lee.He’s not stupid to commit suicide again.If you’re so worried,go and check him Simon said calmly.
-I don’t need to be checked or whatever.I’m going home,I got things to do.Ant thanks for caring of me,promise this won’t happen again Duncan said,suddenly appearing on door.His eyes were puffy and red but these eyes started looking the life happily,sparks of little joy could be sensed easily.He took his jacket but felt Lee’s eyes on him.He shook his head slowly,holding the knob and he said he wanted to be alone then he left.All could understand that it has something to do with Teressa and the best was to leave him alone while he was dealing with it.
Duncan went his home to throw away the last things he kept as memory of Teressa.Some photos belong to good old days,a shirt she forgot at his place and letters she wrote to him when he was on tour with his band.He’d put them back of his closet in a small wooden box to forget Teressa but to know that he could reach her memory whenever he wanted.There was something else he didn’t want his friends to know about,cocain,he used several times after Teressa.He never let anyone understand that he’s been addicted to it but he would have gotrid of all if he had wanted to make a fresh start to life.He threw away all the photos and her t-shirt but he decided to keep one photo to remember remains of her.It was hard to leave it all behind but he had to change his life.After throwing everything he got out of house again to go somewhere quiet he could stay alone but he didn’t know that it was time for him to meet his angel in the city of angels.He didn’t see the car coming towards to him while he was crossing the street and next minute he knew that he was laying on floor.He felt his tears on his cheeks and before closing his eyes he whispered her name:Teressa…
