Legally Speaking FINISHED DECEMBER 2006: MESSAGE PAGE 7

Chapter One

Katie had just been qualified as a legal secretary and had now got her first job at a London firm. The office she worked in was white and quite minimal, there were white and pink lilies placed on the desk next to the computer. She was filing away some important files her boss asked her to put away as she was putting the files back in her boss calls her into the office. Katie goes into her bosses office and her boss looks up,
“Thanks Katie” then she heard the door go “Oh that’ll be my next client, could you bring him in please?” her boss asks her, “Yeah sure” Katie said going back into the office. Katie was a replacement for the usual secretary who was now on maternity leave. She walked into the reception and saw this young guy who was rather familiar.
“Hi” Katie said as she looked up at him, he smiles at her and says “Hi, I’m not too early am I?” He asks as he takes off his cap and ruffles his blonde hair. “No you’re not early, would you like to come this way?” Katie asks as she places down the files and she shows the young man to her boss’s office, she opens the door and moves away then he goes inside.
Katie suddenly realised she recognised him from somewhere; she couldn’t quite put her finger on it though she shrugged and got back to filing. After half an hour the young man comes out of the office, “It was nice meeting you” He says to Katie as he walks past her, she smiles and nods.
He leaves the office, only a few minutes later he comes back “I’ve forgotten my hat” He says blushing slightly, Katie giggles “Hang on I’ll just get it for you” She says as she gets up from her desk just as she got up her boss came out with Lee’s hat “Oh here you are, you’ve forgot this” She says as she hands him his hat. “Thank you” He says, she smiles and goes back into her office.
“By the way my names Lee” Lee says, “And my names Katie” Katie says. They exchange a smile with each other. Lee left the office, Katie watched him leave and wondered when she’d see him again.

CHAPTER TWO................................

Katie smiled and carried on with her filing and other jobs. This Lee person who she thought looked familiar, it would come back to her as to who he was when she wasn’t thinking about it. Katie’s first day went fairly fast and a quarter to five, her boss appeared in the office with a brown file in her hand.
“If you can put this away Katie, then I think you can call it a day for your first day. Get yourself off you’ve worked hard”
“Oh, well OK” Katie said a bit surprised
“No it’s OK Katie, honestly, you’ve done very well today. Just one final job for you, can you put this file away? Remember Lee? The young man who was in earlier, the one who left his cap behind?”
“Yeah I remember?” Katie smiled
“This is his file. About 2 years ago, we had his band mate Simon Webbe in here. Now he and Jude are expecting their first child after they married last year”
Suddenly it dawned on Katie
“Simon Webbe as in Simon Webbe from Blue? And Jude’s the girl I’ve replaced on maternity leave?”
“The very same. I hope you’re not addicted to chocolate like Jude is?”
Katie laughed
“Oh one last thing, because Jude’s left handed, you can rearrange the filing cabinet if you like. She rearranged it to suit her obviously, but you can rearrange it if you want. Anyway, don’t forget to lock up the cabinet before you go and I’ll see you at half eight sharp tomorrow morning”
“Yeah thanks” Katie said as her boss returned to her office. Katie picked up the file and looked at the name “Lee Ryan, it really was Lee Ryan” she said to herself. She put his file back in the cabinet. “I’ll sort this cabinet tomorrow I think” she said and locked it up. She switched off her computer at the mains and said night to her boss. Katie went downstairs and stood outside and looked at the building “I’m going to enjoy being here I think”. She walked off to the tube stop just up the road. On her way home Katie was thinking about Lee “wonder if he’ll come back” she chuckled to herself. Whether he came back or not, Katie was going to enjoy working as a legal secretary.

god i have missed your fics so much i'm so glad that u now post on this forum now that the BB closed Crying or Very sad

btw i was "Blues cheeky monkey" on the BB just incase ur thinking who the hell is this it might jog ur memory a lil

anyway i love this new fic i'll try my hardest to keep up with it

CHAPTER THREE.............

FOUR DAYS LATER.............

It was now the end of Katie’s first week, and she was settling in very well, and getting more into the routine. She was in the office with her boss, Angela.
“I think that’s everything Katie. If you can just take these back to the cabinet, please, that would be great. Our next client’s due in ten minutes, so after he’s been in I think you can have your lunch”
“Thanks” Katie said and she took the files and went back into the main reception area. As she was immersed in placing the files back inside the cabinet she heard the door open and a very familiar voice spoke to her.
“Hi.... again” he said with a pause
Katie looked up “Oh hello again” she smiled at Lee
“Katie wasn’t it?” he asked
“Yes that’s right. You can go straight in, Angela’s waiting for you” Katie said
“Thanks” he said with a grin and he walked into the office. Angela was sitting down.
“Hello Lee, do take a seat”
“Thanks” he said
They got to talking about why Lee was there.
“I’d been in a nightclub with the rest of the band, celebrating Dunk’s birthday. As the night went on I met this girl. We left the club together, and as we were leaving, all the paparazzi were there wanting to take photos. I could see that this girl was scared of the cameras, so I asked the photographers not to take any pictures of her. I asked them nicely but they wouldn’t listen to me. I kept asking them and they wouldn’t stop so we started running off and they still didn’t give up. So I eventually grabbed one of the cameras and smashed it to the ground, but I did it so it didn’t smash anywhere near the photographer. He claims I assaulted him, but I didn’t. I was just doing it in self defence and for the protection of this girl. Next thing I know I’m in the News of the World being exposed as a photographer beater and I did no such thing. The guy left without even so much as a mark on him........”
Angela made notes, as Lee continued to talk. Finally he was finished and Angela opened the door for Lee and he shook her hand.
“Thank you Lee, I think we’ve got all we need for the moment”
“Thanks” he said and began to walk towards the door. He passed Katie who was sat at her desk having just come off the phone.
"Bye Katie, nice to have met you again"
"Yes and you" Katie replied
"Hope you have a nice weekend"
"And you too Lee" she smiled back at him
Lee then walked out the office. Katie sat in her chair and smiled to herself. It had been an amazing first week.

Katie's definately liking her new job and who can blame her
Lee smashed that camera to protect the girl and it was the right thing to do
