Let me take you on a journey back in time, about 18 years ago.

After Duncan and Kaley got the news that Dunc was infertile, they knew it wasnt goin to break their dream of having a family. A year after they got married they adopted a little baby boy and named him Chris.
Altho Lee got back with Kirsten, due to the fact he thought it was best staying with her couse she was the mother of his 4.5 year old son Liam, He kept seeing his ex wife Chloe. He built up a pretty stable father – son raltionship with Makua, his and Chloe’s son. Chloe and Lee kept ‘meeting’ eachother in secret.
Chloe and Kyle got engaged and then they found out she was 5 months pregnant of their baby girl, Bree.

At the age of 22 Liam fell in love with Bree, 16 at that time. They tried keeping their relationship a secret from Chloe and Lee, as if that wasnt hard enough, Bree got pregnant… of twins.

How will Lee and Chloe react to the fact Liam and Bree are dating and to the fact that she got pregnant?

For people who didnt read my past 2 fics ‘A love like this takes some time’ and ‘ A walk in the coulds’ Let me give you some more information about who’s who’s child:

Chloe and Lee have 1 son together: Makua (19). They also lost a baby boy ‘Matthew’ during pregnancy.
Lee and Kirsten have 1 son: Liam (23), He was conceived when they had a one night stand when Lee had a relationship with Chloe.
Kyle and Chloe have 1 daughter: Bree (17). Who now is together with Liam and are expecting twins.
Dunc and Kaley adopted 1 son: Chris (18 ).



-Present-

‘We have to tell mum and Lee…’ Bree looked at Liam and softly smiled
‘We cant’ he shook his head ‘you know they will freak out…’
‘Well we cant keep it a secret from them forever.. They are goin to find out eventually! Its not that I can keep hiding it forever baby!’
‘I know that hun… We’ll tell them when the time is right.. not now’ Liam smiled and pulled her close.
‘I love you Liam’ Bree said and gave him a kiss.
‘I love you to hun’ he smiled and stood up ‘You should better be goin… Dad will be home soon and he’ll ask questions…’
‘Liam thats something else we need to tell them about us… Weve been trying to hide this for a year now… I dont think I can hide it much longer, not now when im pregnant..’
‘Soon baby.. soon’ Liam smiled and looked at her shocked when the door opened.
‘Lee!.. ehm Dad!’ he said and pulled away from Bree.
‘Hello to you to Liam’ He frowned and laughed. ‘Shouldnt you be at work?’
‘Had a day off…’ he lied.
‘Oh lucky you’ he smiled, ‘oh hello… Its Bree isnt it’ he smiled
‘Yeah hey’ she smiled and stood up. ‘I have to go Bye Liam… Thanks for that thing we had a talk about’ she smiled and walked out
‘Bye! Say hello from me to you’re mother’ Lee smiled
‘I will’ Bree said and closed the door behind her
‘Thing? Talk?’ Lee asked wondering
‘She also works where I work’ Liam lied enyway… im goin upstairs cleaning up my room.
‘Finally! That girl seems to talk sense into you.. you should visit her over more!’ Lee laughed.
‘Very funny dad’ Liam rolled his eyes and sighted
‘Son?’ Lee asked
‘Err yeah… DAD?’ Liam soflty laughed
‘She seems a nice girl… She looked alot like her mother.. she was also a nice girl..’
‘God I dont need to hear this’ Liam shook his head laughing ‘I dont want to hear about You’re younger days! Like Eew’
‘im only saying.. she’s a good girl… does she have a boyfriend? Think you should make a move!’
‘Dad!’ Liam said and softly smiled ‘Would you mind?’
‘If it was her? Nah’ Lee shook his head ‘Its not cuz me and her mum split up back in the days that … wait a minute? Are you telling me..’
‘I aint sayin enything’ Liam frowned and laughed ‘you started about this…’
‘True.. shame she’s only 17…’
‘Oi dad’ Liam laughed
‘I was talking about you’re age and hers!’ Lee rolled his eyes
‘oh, Enyway im goin upstairs to clean up my room…’
‘Alright’ Lee said and walked into the kitchen.
‘Oh and dad?’
‘Yeah?’
‘There’s mail from Kirsten’
‘From you’re mother? What she say?’
‘Dont know didnt open it.. dont care actually’ Liam said and closed the door behind him walking upstairs. Once he closed his bedroom door he pulled out his mobile and called Bree.

‘Hey baby, I thought you couldnt call couse Lee was home’
‘Hey babe, oh no, He’s downstairs reading mail from Kirsten’
‘oh I see, why you calling?’
‘I think its all goin to be much easier then we think.. about telling them about us… ‘
‘Why do you think that?’
‘he suddenly started about you and you’re mother and that you seem a nice girl and stuff..’
‘Ok but then there’s the other thing you know… Dont think he and mum are goin to be so pleased you knocked up a 17 year old girl.’
‘Well it was our choice innit..’
‘It wasnt really our choice, its not like it was planned… and sertainly now there’s 2 of em… its goin to be hard…’
‘yeah I know but.. baby we agreed on this didnt we? We are goin to keep them…’
‘Ofcourse! But Ive got to go… im home, Ill try to talk about it with my mum…’
‘Ok, I love you’
‘I love you 2’ Bree smiled and closed her phone.

‘Finally you’re home!’ Makua said
‘Fss! You scared the crap out of me’ Bree gasped for air as she closed the door behind her.
‘Where have you been? Mum and Kyle are worried! Why didnt you call?’
‘I was with a friend, there wasnt enything to worry about’ Bree shook her head
‘Bree we are worried! Especially after what you hear on the news lately… Please just call me or mum’
‘Well I got home safe now didnt I!’
‘Yeah now.. You never know what happens sis!’
‘Alright’ Bree rolled her eyes ‘Where’s mum?’
‘She’s watching tele… Say hello to her, let them know you’re hom’
‘Yeah yeah’ Bree rolled her eyes and walked inside.

‘Where have you been?’
‘A friend’ Bree smiled ‘oh and You’ve got greetings from Lee..’
‘Lee?’ Chloe frowned
‘Ryan… ‘
‘Where did you see him?’
‘Oh ehm..’ Bree frooze in her footsteps and looked at her mother.. ‘On my way home?’
‘Was he alright?’
‘Yeah’ Bree nodded and walked over the kitchen.

‘You went to see his son didnt you… See Liam’ Makua grinned walking into the kitchen.
‘And why would you think that?’ Bree shot him a look while getting some ice-tea out of the fridge.
‘Come on… I know there’s something between you… after all he sort of is my brother..’
‘There’s absolutly nothing goin on…’ Bree shook her head
‘You slept with him didnt you’ Makua crossed his arms and looked at her.
‘What?’ Bree chuckled looking at him
‘O Bree’ Makua shook his head and softly laughed.
‘I.. did not..’
‘Bree, if you wanna talk about it.. im you’re big brother I wont tell Mum and Kyle’ Makua shook his head
‘There’s nothing I should tell you Makua..’ Bree said and walked upstairs.
‘Are you sure?’ Makua knocked on her door and walked inside.
‘Makua get out!’ Bree yelled and threw a pillow at him.
‘What happened at you’re sweet sixteen?’
‘Nothing!’
‘Bree! Ive seen the way you act… How on earth can you run into Lee… “on youre way home” you seem to “run” into him alot lately… Are you dating Liam?’
‘What if I am!’ Bree said. ‘Oh’ She said and looked at Makua shocked
‘So I was right’ He softly laughed
‘Dont you dare tell Mum or Dad!’
‘I wont.. my lips are sealed sis..’ Makua sat down on her bed and looked at her ‘You and Liam huh, Mum is gion to explode you do know that!’
‘Well you dont choose who you fall in love with do you…’
‘She wont let you see him…’
‘Why do you think ive been trying to keep it a secret?!’
‘You’re getting youreself into some trouble Bree’ Makua said getting up
‘As if I dont know’ she sighted and switched on her computer. ‘But then you dont know everything yet’ she whispered.

‘Hey Bree?’ Makua popped his head inside
‘What?’ She frowned not taking her eyes from her computer screen.
‘Me, Chris, Kitty and Paige are goin to a club want to join us?’
‘Naah thanks’ she looked at him and smiled ‘Ill think I’ll pass this time’
‘Oh come on sis! It’ll be fun!’
‘You aint giving up are you?’
‘Nope, Please! Liam can come to’ He looked at her with puppy dog eyes
‘Alright’ she sighted ‘Let me just get some time to get ready’ she softly smiled.

‘Why is everyone leaving me’ Chloe laughed as she gave kyle a kiss

‘Yeah, as for the kids, let them have some fun..’

‘Mum’ He rolled his eyes and walked inside. He was wearing one of his ripped Jeans and a black shirt
‘People will think they see you’re dad walking’ she looked at Makua in shock and giggled.
‘Well yeah ive heard that before that I look Exactly like my dad when he was young’
‘They will need to pull the girls off ya’ Chloe winked
‘Mum!’ Maku laughed.
‘We ready to go?’ Bree knocked on the door and laughed
‘Yeah, woo sis you look hot, someone special you’re dressing for?’ makua laughed
‘Not’ Bree rolled her eyes and hit him.
‘Have fun guys’ Chloe smiled ‘But be back before 3!’
‘Me aswell?’ Makua frowned
‘Just drop you’re sister off at 3 and then you can go wherever you want’
‘You know thats so unfair he gets to stay away longer!’
‘He’s older then you aswell, home at 3 no minute longer’ Chloe said
‘Alright’ Bree rolled her eyes and walked outside with Makua.

‘So did you dress up like that especially for Liam?’
‘Omg Like not!’
‘Right’ Makua laughed as he got in the car.
‘Shut it!’ Bree softly laughed and hit him again
‘Ok this is goin to sound totally wrong seein as you’re a girl but… did you gain weight?’
‘MAKUA!’ Bree screamed and hit him ‘Will you piss off’ She rolled her eyes and sighted
‘Well thats you’re fault when you’re always eating candy and stuff’
‘wotever just drive’ Bree rolled her eyes. She wasnt getting fat of eating, its couse she’s pregnant, not easy telling that when you’re only 17.

+At Chloe’s place – 30 minutes later- +
‘Hey’ Chloe smiled as she opened the door.
‘Kids out?’ Lee winked and walked inside
‘Yeah im home alone… feeling lonely’ Chloe put on a sad face
‘Not enymore ej’ Lee grinned
‘Not enymore no’ Chloe said and wrapped her arms around him.
‘Kyle off working?’
‘Yeah, he’ll be home around 7 tomorrow and Bree’s home around 3 so we’ve got plenty of time, if you get me’ Chloe winked and walked into the livingroom ‘Oh btw thanks for you’re greetings’ Chloe laughed
‘My pleasure..’
‘Where exactly did you see Bree?’
‘Erm she was at me home, with Liam..’
‘Liam- home? She told me she saw you on the way home’
‘What? Nope she was at my place.. enyway appearantly they work together..’
‘Hmm she didnt tell me that’ Chloe frowned
‘Enyway’ Lee grinned
‘Want a drink?’ Chloe teased him opening the fridge
‘Naah’ Lee shook his head
‘Water it is then’ she laughed and got out a bottle
‘I’d rather have you then water’ Lee grinned wrapping his arms around her
‘oh really’ chloe said and took a sip of the bottle
‘uhu’ Lee licked his lips and a grin appeared on her face.
‘Lee’ She laughed as she was now pinned inbetween Lee’s body and the Kitchen table.
‘Why dont we head upstairs?’ He grinned
‘You… should be patient’ Chloe took a sip of her drink again and kissed him.
‘You should know by now that I havent got eny patience’ Lee laughed as he picked her up and walked upstairs.
‘Now then’ He said as he placed her on the bed ‘Shall we get down to business… pleasure?’
‘We shouldnt be doin this’ Chloe grinned
‘Do I look like I give a F-U-C-K that you’re engaged?’ Lee grinned and kissed her.
‘No you dont…’ Chloe grinned as he removed his shirt, she pulled him close and kissed him passionatly.

This is how it’s been goin the past 18 years… Chloe couldnt say she was happily engaged with Kyle.. Longest engagement ever, they were to busy to actually plan a weddingdate or get married. She missed Lee and he missed her. They were both still young, her beein 40 and Lee 45, he still didnt loose his title of ‘Shagger of the Year’ Oh no, he did his title proud.

‘You should be goin now’ Chloe ran her hand over Lee’s cheek and placed a kiss on his lips. ‘Its nearly 2.30 Bree’s coming home soon…’
‘I dont want to leave yet..’
‘Well I dont want her to see us… Im cheating on her dad… with you, you know’
‘Call me soon’ Lee gave her one long kiss and got up
‘Oh I will’ chloe grinned as she watched Lee leave.
